Reimagining Hospitality

Welcome to Ember Hallows Farm, a farm stay wellness hotel village designed to reconnect guests with themselves, communities and our planet through the lens of how and what we eat. Ember Hallows is not just a resort, it's a culinary experience that provides instruction and knowledge on how to grow and harvest your  own produce, and the recipes and skills needed to turn those ingredients into a beautiful meal. Guests will go home with a better understanding of small-scale farm production, basic culinary skills and recipes, along with a sense of calm and rejuvenation.

The Idea

This is all done through our unique approach to what a vacation should look like. Our goal is to empower our guests with the knowledge and familiarity of what it takes to live sustainably and to lessen reliance on highly processed foods.

While the central focus is surrounding food production and the skills acquired to cook with them, our property includes a variety of amenities designed to encourage guests to bring the focus back to their physical and mental health that coincides with our food central mission.

The guest experience will begin before ever setting foot on our location. Pre- arrival, guests will complete a questionnaire that will include their interests, food preferences and dietary restrictions. Our team will then take that information and create a curated, suggested schedule and diet for their visit.

The Experience

Upon arrival, guests step into a fully immersive culinary experience. Working alongside our chefs, they prepare daily rotating seasonal menus—crafting everything from house-made breads and pastas to desserts and sauces, while learning wine pairing and plating techniques along the way.

Beyond the kitchen, guests engage in hands-on small-scale farming, planting and harvesting produce from our gardens and greenhouse to be used in their meals. Ingredients not grown on-site are sourced from local producers, whom guests are introduced to during their stay—creating a true seed-to-table experience rooted in seasonality, skill-building, and connection.

A central butcher’s block anchors the space, serving as the stage for live technique demonstrations. Each guest works from a dedicated station, fully equipped with tools, ingredients, and pre-measured mise en place, allowing them to follow along seamlessly. Designed as a warm, home-style kitchen, the space features natural light from a floor-to-ceiling garden window, wood-fired stone oven, gas range, and cedar countertops. Daily menus are displayed on a blackboard, while personalized recipe cards encourage learning, confidence, and hands-on engagement.
